beach.fun--obx 3

Where do I start?!
Our OBX weather was perfect for fun on the beach. The temperatures were in the high 70's to low 80's....absolutely beautiful! The sand was not too hot to walk on barefooted; in fact, after the first day we ditched the crocs/flip flops altogether and just took our bare feet to the beach!

The kids had so much fun playing in the surf (have no fear, it was more like in the 2-10 inch deep water!), digging and building things in the sand and what not.

Oh, and of course the snacks, how could I forget the snacks......

Yikes, here it comes!

This is FUN!

On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand...

AAAAAAA!!!

I just love this expression!

Burying mommy's feet

Sand castle creations

Two tiny sand castles

Digging a mote

Putting on the finishing touches (notice it's a heart shaped mote)

One big sand castle in the making

Finally finished!

What fun! Burying Wes in the sand!

'I love you' in the sand

Eric and G's footprints in the sand

A daddy and his little girl

Woah! That was a big one Daddy!

Sorry Daddy, I'm done doing that!

After beach, before rinse....

After rinse, before pool....

Can you tell we thoroughly had a blast?! R. is standing here as I type this up and he said, "That was fun in Outer Banks! Can we go again next summer?!"

What more can I say?! Just praising God for our wonderful time together as a family, enjoying His creation and a much needed rest from our hectic schedule.
