time for an update.....or so I heard!

I got a very big hint the other day that it was time for an update here! The hinter was tired of reading about my handy dandy Pampered Chef kitchen utensil!!!! Well I thought I'd leave it up good and long so to be sure you would have gotten yourself one by now!

So what in the world do I update about?! My life now consists of a messy house and LOTS of cornhole bags being sewn! I operate out of our garage, having set up a regular 'factory' of sorts :0) Since we have been done with school (hallelujah!) and the sewing has stepped up to full speed, I don't have a lot of time for much else! My weekends are a sanctuary of rest/recoup/recharge for the coming week.

But THIS week, I'm slowing it down! Only a few bags will this girl be sewing and then it's off to VA on Wednesday morning! Eric and my brother (*funny how he's a 'brother' now, when we were growing up he was my 'bother'! JK!) are heading to NC on a business trip and the families are going too. We will set up headquarters at my mom's cousin's house on Smith Mountain Lake in Roanoke, VA, and the guys will head further south for a few days for the business segment of the trip. (ok, don't ban me from blogging for that run-on sentence or my shoddy punctuation! be glad I care enough to carve time out of my supremely busy schedule to give you this intense update of our lives...or whatever)

There you have it! I will be sure to take lots of pictures so I can give you a proper update when we return. I need to focus on laundry and packing....#1 items are swimsuits and sunscreen!
