opening day...soccer

The boys both had soccer games this morning, back to back, from 9-12. They all looked so cute out there in their uniforms! Here are some pictures....you can click on them to view them larger. I.'s game was first....they were too funny as they barely know what they're supposed to be doing. They brought quite a few chuckles :)

You can barely see I. in this one, but he's in the front, heading toward the ball.

Moments before I. kicks it hard! Go I.!

More action

Good game! Good game!

Pre-game meeting with the coach. R. is sitting on the ball next to coach.

Go! Go!

R. as goalie

Take your positions.....

Go K.! She kicked it REALLY hard! I thought this was a really great action shot.

Good game! Good game!

Future soccer player :) She even wanted to pull her socks up to the knee (like the other soccer players) and cried because she didn't have shin guards too. Maybe some day :)

Too cute

What a fun time! I even got a little sun on my face and arms :) I'm thinking these Saturday games will give me a last summer fling with the sun!

We are so blessed with these healthy children that can run and play. Today, try to find at least one thing that is a blessing usually taken for granted. I know I have many things like that in my life and sometimes I just need to slow down and allow God to remind me of all He has blessed me with.

Hey...looks fun. I love the last picture of G. She looks short, sweet, and kinda sassy! Before you know it, she'll be playing high school soccer or something like that. Time with our children is flying by. Hope you had a good day of family time!
