i be 27....

Well, I'm getting 'older', but I don't know about the 'wiser' part!

Here are some random musings/questions about turning another year older or birthdays in general....

• The 20's feel young, but I'm on the higher end now and it feels like the 'middle age' years are looming closer.
• Birthdays are still generally 'fun' at this point.
• I wonder, have I done anything to make this past year count?
• I have to eat less now, I lose a 'Point' on my Weight Watchers plan today. I've 'graduated' to the next age catagory. (groans quietly)
• I'm turning into my Mom.....my sweet children asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told them "a clean house and obedient children", just like my own Mother said for so many years!
• Should a person get special priviledges or get to do what they want just because it's their birthday?
• Is it childish to hope for a 'surprise' of some sort on your birthday? um, ok, yeah it is....

Ok, so that wasn't anything very deep......just shooting from the hip and being real!

I DO wonder what God has in store for this year....He's always full of great surprises, right?! He is always faithful and true and I can count on HIM no matter what. So with that in mind, it ought to be a great year!
