going, going, gone!

For quite some time Miss G. has wanted to get her hair cut.  It hadn't been cut in almost 4 years!  I did let her get a tiny bit trimmed off the ends a couple months ago, with the intent that when summer came she could get it cut and donate it.

Yesterday morning was her appointment and she looks like a different little girl! 

I wasn't sure I could bear the thought of cutting off her long, silky hair....especially since it took several years to grow it!  But it hasn't taken me very long to get used to it and love it.  She'll be so much cooler in this summer heat!

I pray that some little girl will be very blessed with her locks!  We chose to donate to Wigs for Kids.
